Wow summer is almost over. I am finishing a week off with  my boys, I spent a couple of days camping in Vermont.  It was a lot less humid up there. :)  I attended a fun Copic 101 and 102 classes of which  I learned to do a lot more with my copic markers.

I am a member of CDAC (Crafter's Digital Arts Center) and I have completed a couple of the challanges while on vacation.

The Card above uses a digi stamp from "WhimsyandStars" and is called Sunflower Pot and it was part of the other theme challenge.  I created this card yesterday after attending a Copics 101 and 102 class.

This card is using a digi image from "Paper Fashions, ect and is made from the Garden Accessories Set. This was also colored with Copic markers and was part of the embellishment challenge.

Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving to all.  We had a great dinner at our house.  I actually fit 21 people in my dinning room.
It was actually a very relaxed day and we talked about fun family times.

Fal is here

I cannot believe that the summer is gone.  We have had such a whirlwind of a summer starting right before school got out until it began again.  Everyone is getting back into the groove of things and I am starting to get back into crafting.   I have done a few things throughout the summer, but not as much as usual.

I did head up to Vermont at the beginning of  September and completed 20+ scrapbook pages in a weekend.
Sympathy Card using a stencil.
I used a technique of ripping up pieces of scrapbook paper and pasting it on black then cutting it into squares.
This is one month for a CD calendar swap I was in.

Beautiful Day

I hope everyone was able to enjoy this beautiful day. It was a perfect day to spend some time outside.
Today I am sharing with you a tri-shutter card that I made for a challenge on That's Scrap Inc.  It was a fun card to make and I can see myself making more of these. The nice thing also is that they fit in a standard card envelope

Happy Easter

I would like to first wish everyone a Happy Easter.  We have a beautiful sunny 71 deg day here in Connecticut.  We are spending the day with family over my sisters.  I hope you all enjoy this beautiful day.

Here is an ATC that I finished up yesterday for a swap on swap_bot.  I wasn't sure how it was going to come out, but I have decided that I like it. I have used mult techniques on it.

The background was made with a white gel pen and then spritzed with smooch spritz.  The butterfly is done in Tim Holtz's distressed embossing powder.

What a day

Oh what a day at work.  I couldn't wait for it to be over.  I am working only a few hours tomorrow (hopefully) and then I plan on creating some cards and ATC's.

We started a new process and the doctors are in an uproar.  I sometimes wonder if people really want to move forward in this economy.

I came home last night and was hit with the perfect layout for this card.  I had wanted to make an Easel Card before I needed to make them for a swap.  I was also in the process of making the Thank You cards for when my family took me out for my 50th Birthday.  I had wanted to make something more than a standard card to give them. I had the pieces colored for about a week and just kept on trying different backgrounds and it just wasn't fitting until last night and this am.

I used Copic Markers to color the butterfly.  It is the same stamp set that I used on the spinner card earlier this month. There is some crystal effects and glitter on it also.
